In 2015, he was featured on the Rick Ross song “Smile Mama, Smile,” and more recently was featured on the Kendrick Lamar Untitled Unmastered surprise release. On Monday [March 28] Green released the song “Sunday Shoes,” a tribute to the woman who raised and influenced him.

The song is a return to the style that was highly showcased in CeeLo’s album Lady Killer and is a soulful introspective with the artist reaching deep into the past for inspiration on the heartfelt track.
