As of late, Jones was preparing to face off against current Light Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier in April, whom he had previously defeated in 2014 and won Jones’ vacated championship belt. Last weekend, Bones Jones got entangled with another brush with the law, this time being pulled over for allegedly drag racing. TMZ got a hold of the footage and leaked it to the public, showing the former champ in a tense dispute with the officer as to whether or not he was dragging racing.

Less than 24 hours after the footage was released, Jones has been arrested for violating the terms of his parole, which stipulates that he cannot come into police contact. He was sentenced to 18 months probation for last year’s hit-and-run after pleading guilty and now, his future is in legal limbo. The UFC issued a statement regarding the incident by has remained mum on any extensive details.
