Uncle Snoop is trying to save the day and buy Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles, after the company admitted it is at risk of shutting down after its parent company filed for bankruptcy.
The company, which owes approx. $3 million to former employee Daniel Beasley who sued them for racial discrimination last year, is now uncertain about the future of the business, according to NBC Los Angeles.
Yesterday [Tuesday, March 29] TMZ approached Snoop and explained to him that Roscoe’s might be closing. Uncle Snoop had one simple solution.
“Guess I’ll have to buy it and make it Snoop Dogg’s Chicken & Waffles,” he said.
Although the name change might come as a shock to some people, if Snoop can keep the restaurant open then an alternative name is something we will have to get used too.
