Kanye West naming Justin Bieber‘s “What Do You Mean” his favorite song of 2015, and his consecutive nights of turning up at Bieber’s Purpose tour stops may carry a deeper meaning.
A recently published Billboard report says that Scooter Braun, the mega-manager largely responsible for Justin Bieber’s career and several multi-million dollar marketing campaigns, has been working with Kanye West for a month, and that Braun will become one of West’s managers—pending a formal agreement—alongside longtime West manager Izzy Zivkovich.
Kanye West and Justin Bieber’s relationship dates back to 2010, when West featured Bieber on one of his G.O.O.D. Friday tracks, the remix to “Runaway Love,” which also featured Raekwon. Yeezy has also been spotted dapping up Braun in the past, so at least there’s some familiarity as they work towards getting a deal done.
