NFL Draft prospects routinely go through an intense examination process in order to be evaluated by league scouts. This includes the combine, which tests their physical attributes such as speed, strength, agility, which would make sense. Prospects are also tested mentally through IQ tests and brief quizzes that test their decision making skills.

What is odd though is some of the questions asked during the interview process don’t have anything to do with football. Case in point, Ohio State cornerback Eli Apple was asked if he likes men. Believe it or not, the prospect cannot refuse to answer questions, no matter how personal. Things got all the more odd though for LSU safety Jalen Mills, who was asked if he were to murder someone, would he prefer a gun or knife?

Speaking with CBS Sports, Mills shared that he chose a gun, which was the correct answer according to the NFL team that asked him.

How they grade it is if you choose the knife, now you’re killing for fun because you have to continuously stab somebody. But a gun is quick.

Let’s not forget that time Miami Dolphins general manager Jeff Ireland asked Dez Bryant if his mother was a prostitute.
