Chance The Rapper puts on heavy for his hometown, so it’s only right Chicago honors him with something special as well. Chance will throw out the first pitch for the White Sox when they take on the Cleveland Indians on Friday, reported by The Chicago Sun Times.

This will be the second time Chance has had the opportunity to kick off the White Sox season. He was the first to throw out the pitch in their opener back in 2014.

Chance will not perform at the game, but the Goo Goo Dolls and John Rzeznik are scheduled to sing the National Anthem. Chance didn’t have the best first pitch but with two years passing, he may have had some practice. You can check out a few artists and their first pitch in the video below and we will cover you with footage of Chance’s pitch on Friday when available.
