Federal prosecutors recently filed court documents charging 22-year-old Brooklyn man Delvon Dowling for his role in the robbery and shooting of New York Knicks forward Cleanthony Early in December of 2015. According to the New York Times, Dowling was one of several people who confronted Early outside of a Queens, NY strip club, robbing him at gunpoint, stealing two cellphones, a chain and gold caps from his teeth. One of the assailants also shot Early in his right leg during the incident.

Interestingly enough, Dowling was arrested at his home last Friday on unrelated charges and after waiving his right to remain silent, confessed to participating in the robbery but said that he was not the shooter, claiming that he was in one of the vehicles the entire time.
