Harrison Barnes is a Golden State Warriors, meaning life is pretty easy for him right now. He probably doesn’t have to deal with grueling practices aimed at trying to eclipse a team sitting ahead of them in the standings, he isn’t being heavily criticized in the media, and the Warriors could be the winningest team in a single season in NBA history if they manage to lose just one of their last 5 games.
Not bad at all.
So, until the playoffs start in a couple of weeks, it makes sense that Barnes is seeking a challenge elsewhere. Like video games, specifically, NBA 2K. Barnes invited a few people of note–Instagram sensation Baddie Winkle, actor Blake Anderson among them–to come over and try their hand at quite literally beating a pro baller at his own game.
The most hilarious of the match-ups was naturally Barnes vs Winkle, the latter of whom took a pretty vicious 21-0 beating. In the process however, Winkle got her jokes in, and even blurted out Drake’s infamous “Steph Curry with the pot boy” line from his Grammy-nominated “0-100” single.
