In a video released via Twitter this morning [Wednesday, April 6], Janet Jackson announced she is pushing back her world tour for the second time to focus on a personal goal. The 49-year-old says she and her husband, Wissam Al Mana, are planning a family.
“I have not forgotten about you. I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can,” Jackson said.
She presumably released the video for her fans to help them understand there is a greater reason behind her delays.

According to the singer, last December’s tour setback was due to needed recovery from an unspecified surgery. This time around, Jackson is citing a “doctor’s request” is the reason for the delay.
