The Chris Brown clapback has become a staple of pop culture. Something to look forward to–like the Crying Jordan face–whenever he’s criticized by someone of celebrity stature.

Just over a week ago, Chris Brown heavily criticized Kehlani on Twitter, claiming that her alleged suicide attempt was a publicity stunt, which were comments that didn’t sit well with lots of people, including Zendaya Coleman, two members of Fifth Harmony and Tinashe, who reportedly unfollowed Brown on social media after his rant, leading to this since-deleted IG comment by CB.

Tinashe was then asked in person about Brown’s response to Kehlani’s incident, which prompted her to denounce his tweets, calling his actions “petty.”

I just think it’s silly. Petty… It’s not even worth it, it’s not a big deal to me. I don’t think that follows on Twitter are a big deal. If I see him, I would love to speak to him. I would love if he would reach out. I have absolutely nothing against him. We’re on good terms, as far as I knew.

Tinashe recently claimed that it wasn’t her decision to collaborate with Chris Brown on her recent single “Player,” but rather a result of coaxing from her label, RCA. Brown responded to both of Tinashe’s comments in one swoop, calling her a “16-year-old hobbit face ass,” in an Instagram comment captured by–who else–Baller Alert.
