The ever-imperative New York primary, which will likely be the biggest deciding factor in whether or not Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders secures the Presidential nomination on November’s Democratic ticket, is later this month, and Giuliani has tossed his name into the endorsement pot. The former mayor will be voting for Donald Trump, he tells The New York Post.

Giuliani cited Trump’s negotiating skills as one of the reasons he chose to back the Republican front-runner, who still has the strongest shot at his party’s nomination despite a minor recent setback in the Wisconsin primary, which Trump’s strongest challenger, Ted Cruz, won decisively. “Trump is a negotiator. He negotiates from a high bar to get people’s attention,” starts Giuliani, “threatening to withdraw from NATO will get a better deal with NATO.”
