Since the release of her major label debut, Aquarius, in late 2014, Tinashe has emerged as one of R&B and Pop’s brightest young stars, securing multiple Top 40 R&B hits on the way, and the co-signs of Chris Brown and Kanye West. Her momentum swelled late last year when she announced a brand new trek, the Joyride tour, and a brand new album of the same name, which would sport some of her recent singles, including the Chris Brown-featured “Player,” which has peaked at #39 on the R&B Billboard charts, and the Metro Boomin-produced “Ride Of Your Life.”

Tinashe kicked off the tour on February 28 and was scheduled to be on the road until May 26. As far as Joyride the album, there isn’t a set release date, but if the “Player” singer has decided to cancel her tour to get it done, chances are she’d like it out sooner rather than later.
