The Latin version of The Voice for kids, La Voz Kids, is in its fourth season. Judges Daddy Yankee, Natalia Jimenez and Pedro Fernandez recently discussed their strategies in building their teams, and beating their fellow judges. The animated interview gets the diverse group of judges comically dissecting the other judges habits and selections.
Jimenez is a multi-platinum singer from Spain, and the lead singer of La Quinta Estacion. Her 2015 hit “Creo En Mi” recently won the Latin Billboard Music Award for Hot Latin Song Of the Year.
Fernandez is a Mexican performer who has been entertaining since he was a child. He has a lengthy discography of music, as well as films and television roles since the early 1980s.
Daddy Yankee is the Puerto Rican star most known in the states for his crossover hit “Gasolina” and his feature on N.O.R.E.’s “Oye Mi Canto (Remix)” that broke reggaeton into the mainstream. With over 18 million records sold worldwide, Yankee still is huge in the greater Latin world and consistently drops new material like this year’s “No Es Ilegal/Not A Crime” featuring Play-n-Skillz.
