We’re just one week away from the release of A$AP Ferg‘s new album, Always Strive and Prosper, dropping on April 22. With a few singles already in rotation–“New Level” featuring Future, “Let It Bang” featuring ScHoolboy Q, “World Is Mine” featuring Big Sean–Ferg decided to liberate what might be the most anticipated collaboration off the album, a reimagining of Alicia Myers’ classic “I Wanna Thank You,” produced by DJ Mustard.
If you think you know what’s coming sonically because “produced by DJ Mustard” is involved, think again. Mustard settles comfortably in his House/EDM lane, similar to his recent single with Travi$ Scott, “Whole Lotta Lovin’,” as Ferg and Missy deliver their verses, and Ferg handles the singing duties on the hook.
