Yesterday, as is customary, Run The Jewels—Killer Mike and El-P–took the Coachella stage to perform their hearty catalog, which spans two formidable solo discographies and their critically-acclaimed joint work, the self-titled LPs Run The Jewels and Run The Jewels II. Both Killer Mike and El-P have spent parts of the last two decades making some of the best rap music this game has ever seen, so it makes sense that they brought along a guy that knows a thing or two about making great rap music, Nasir Jones, along for the surprise ride out in Coachella Valley on a bright and sunny Saturday afternoon.
