On the latest episode of Kocktails with Khloe, Kim Kardashian-West and husband Kanye appear along with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen to explain how North played a small part on the delay of the release of The Life of Pablo by being a toddler.

“Kanye had every single rap in his iPhone before he started really working on Pablo and then North flushed it down the toilet and they could not be retrieved,” Kim said. “We sent it to like four places…”

“And no Apple Genius was genius enough,” added West.

During the episode, Kanye also talks about why he decided to finally get a cell phone, because he wanted to contact Kim, who was then married to Kris Humphries.

“I got a phone because someone decided to marry Kris Humphries,” Kanye said.

“You didn’t have a phone, but then when you got one it was one number you called,” John Legend added.

But it wasn’t all jokes, with Kanye getting personal when discussing his personal outlook about himself. During the episode, Yeezy contributes his grandfather for helping him develop his self esteem—because what would Kanye be without the love of Kanye?

“I think it was just my grandfather, mostly,”  Kanye said. “But my parents also. Just like not having a slave mentality, because so many people what holds them back is they don’t see themselves in a higher position.”
