After its highly successful third film, The Bourne Ultimatum, the Jason Bourne movie series digressed from its central plot, casting Jason Renner as Bourne’s fellow agent in The Bourne Legacy in 2012, while Damon’s future was in limbo. Much to the delight of fans however, in recent years, Matt Damon‘s return appeared imminent, and it was solidified earlier this year when a teaser trailer and official release date for the film was released.
Ahead of its middle-of-the-summer impact, July 29, you can now watch the full, brand new trailer for Jason Bourne, 9 years later after you watched Bourne dive-or get shot off–a roof into a body of water while fleeing the federal government. Obviously, Bourne survived the near decade-long cliffhanger, but he’s still got a job to do, a mission to finish, and answers to obtain. Here’s a peek at how he’ll go about accomplishing that.
