It’s nearly been 3 long years, but Harlem’s native “trap lord,” A$AP Ferg, has returned to the shelves. Today, Ferg’s sophomore album, Always Strive And Prosper, is officially available for purchase and stream, the latter of which you can do so below, via Spotify. Since the release of his major label debut, Trap Lord, in 2013, the “New Level” rapper has developed into a bonafide star, notching two certifiable hits–“Work,” “Shabba”–while performing on festival and arena stages around the world.
With his new album, Ferg’s mission to diversify his sonic palette sees him collaborate with everyone from Missy Elliott and Skrillex to Chuck D and Chris Brown, while still maintaining his core sound with already-released jams like “New Level” and “Let It Bang,” and additional album cuts, like the Rick Ross-featured “Swipe Life” and his team-up with A$AP Rocky, a tribute to A$AP Yams, “Yammy Gang.”
