As per several reports, including the following one from the ever-reliable Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, Splash Brother #1 has suffered what sounds like a mild knee sprain, which will result in him missing two weeks of playoff action. The prognosis is significantly more positive than the early reports of the Warriors potentially having to trudge through the next 4-6 weeks of the playoffs without their reigning MVP,  but a lot can happen in 2 weeks of playoff action.

The Clippers will likely be the team that emerges from their opening round tussle with the resilient Portland Trailblazers, but the key question is when. If Damian Lillard and company can push LA to a Game 7, which would take place on Saturday, the Clips second round series with the Warriors–assuming the Warriors put the Rockets away this week–probably wouldn’t get started until Monday, which would already be a week into Curry’s scheduled MIA time. However, if the Clippers finish off the Blazers in Game 5 or 6, the series will get started sooner, giving a very good LA team more time to try to make a dent in their series, up against a Curry-less Warriors team.
