Three years since his last studio project, four-time GRAMMY nominated R&B star Eric Benét announces the completion of his eighth studio album, set to release this fall. The album’s lead single, “Sunshine” will be available for download on Friday, May 13, along with a studio performance video for the song that features his eldest daughter, India Benet.

Last week, the Milwaukee native released the single’s artwork, revealing what fans can expect from the track:
“Sunshine” is a reflective memory about a relationship that has lost its spark, with a longing for how love-filled & joyous their lives used to be in the past. The song will hopefully inspire people to actively create and savor the joy and ‘sunshine’ in every one of their relationships.”
