Kobe Bryant has remained pretty quiet in the days since his magnificent final game, a 60-point performance against the Utah Jazz that will likely go down as one of the best–if not the best–sunset rides in sports history.
However, the Black Mamba recently broke his silence, and sat down for an interview with Ellen Degeneres, making for quite a fearful sight for Kobe Bryant fans. #24, sitting casually and docile, fielding softball questions from one of American’s most beloved daytime talk show hosts? No Mamba face? No screaming at Dwight Howard? No mummy-esque bandages on the sideline? It’s a straight up horror film, isn’t it.
The only thing more horrifying than that, was probably the prank Kobe pulled on an aesthetician that came to assist him before he took Ellen’s stage. Not only did he convince the poor woman that he sweats uncontrollably, but he whipped out a jar of his “sweat”–it was probably just water–that he claimed to be auctioning off. He didn’t re-stow the jar before offering some sort of pre-sale discount to the aesthetician.
