Courtney Lee Drains Game-Winner Against the Heat, Credits Pre-Game Massage

Courtney Lee was traded from Memphis to Charlotte earlier this year, where he’s been a solid contribution off the bench, averaging 9 points and 3 rebounds per game while shooting 40% from behind-the-arc. Last night, Lee was not his usual self from deep, but when it counted, he drained a big-time three-pointer with just over 20 seconds left in regulation, gifting the Hornets a pivotal Game 5 victory, and the opportunity to send the Heat packing in Game 6. Lee, who’s developed a knack for hitting key three-pointers during his rookie season in Orlando and a couple fruitful years in Memphis, had a pretty interesting reason why he was able to come through in the clutch for his current team.
