G.O.O.D. Music Desiigner is having one hell of a week, as his hit single, “Panda,” dethroned Rihanna‘s perennial “Work” atop the Billboard Hot 100, scoring the first #1 single of his career. It’s been an immensely successful 2016 for the Brooklyn rapper, who has yet to even release the video for “Panda,” and he teased more new music, including a song called “Pluto,” at SxSW. Not bad for the first major maneuver of Pusha T‘s reign as G.O.O.D. prez.
During his overseas stint, Desiigner, who has rarely been heard from in the press during his ascent, stopped by Tim Westwood‘s show for a brief interview about his monster year and a freestyle, during which Desiigner employed the erratic gestures and antics that one would normally see at his live performances for what seemed like a breathless 2-and-a-half minutes.
