After a visit to The Breakfast Club morning radio show on April 15, Hillary Clinton made headlines everywhere for a quick and interesting soundbite. She revealed in her interview the one thing she always keeps in her purse is hot sauce, and while it was humorous and quirky, many people weren’t buying it.

With Beyoncé most recently popularizing the hot sauce-in-my-bag thing on her politically charged song “Formation,” it seemed Hillary simply might be trying to appeal to the Black vote—but naysayers could be wrong in this case.

After her appearance on the radio show, “evidence” began surfacing that Hillary has actually had a long running love of all things hot sauce for most of her life. Now it seems Hillary’s employees are following suit.
