Since the untimely death of Prince plenty of celebrities have paid tribute to his legacy by performing some of his classics, but none have done it at the White House like the legend Aretha Franklin.

The White House held its the 2016 All-Star Global Concert on Friday [April 29], hosted by President Barack Obama with Morgan Freeman as emcee. The event featured performances from a plethora of musical greats such as Herbie Hancock, Sting, Esperanza Spalding and Ms. Franklin.

Aretha used her performance to pay tribute to Prince by covering his hit, “Purple Rain.”
