Earlier last month, Atlantic Records R&B singer and songwriter PJ released “Gangster,“ the debut single from her forthcoming EP Rare (available June 10).
In “Gangster,” PJ shares a reflection of her inner thoughts as to what it’s like for her kind-hearted, positive spirit to get fed up and become the “gangster girl” she’s been suppressing. This week, the North Carolina native released the video showcasing her alter ego battle with visuals reminiscent of Alanis Morissette‘s 1995 classic hit, “Ironic.”
