Summer Jam delivers a star-studded lineup every year, making it no surprise that its consistently referred to as the greatest Hip Hop concert in the world.
In 2016, it seems as if Hot 97 has something to prove. A solid lineup that already featured heavyweights like Pusha T/G.O.O.D. Music, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky and DJ Khaled gets beefier today, as the radio station announced the addition of Future, Travi$ Scott and a Terror Squad reunion to the docket.
Last year, Future performed during Meek Mill‘s closing set, but he wasn’t officially on the bill, despite being considered one of the hottest rappers in the game. Fans everywhere took issue with Future not having his own set, and their qualms will be settled this summer, as the new flyer indicates that Future will not only have his own set, but he may be the headlining act. Travi$ Scott also nicely matriculates from the Festival Stage, where he performed last year, to the main stage, while Fat Joe and Remy Ma will undoubtedly be flaunting their new joint album, Plato y Plomo, in addition to a legendary repertoire of hits.
It’s anyone’s guess who the surprise guests will be this year, but with a lineup like DJ Khaled and Friends, A$AP Rocky and A$AP Ferg, Bryson Tiller, Future, Young Thug and more, the opportunities are endless.
