Rihanna released ANTI at the end of January and it immediately did numbers. ANTI accomplished over one million downloads in less than 24 hours and in just two days after its release it was certified platinum by the RIAA and the first and only album in history to be certified with 100 million song awards. By ANTI’s second week it had peaked at number one on the Billboard Top 200 chart, with her single “Work” featuring Drake spending nine weeks at number one on the Hot 100 chart.

Now here we are almost three months later and ANTI is the first album in 2016 to be certified double platinum by the RIAA. In addition to ANTI, “Work” continues to rise in rank as well, going three times double platinum. It just keeps getting better.

In April, Rihanna was crowned the first female to reach 20 million subscribers on YouTube with the release of her “Kiss It Better” video and she was also deemed the number one artist on Spotify.

As if her music was not enough, yesterday [Thursday, May 5] was also the release of her new Manolo Blahnik collaboration, Denim Desserts. The collection consists of six limited edition denim inspired designs.
