A Delta flight from Atlanta to Chicago needed to make an emergency landing in Nashville after hitting turbulence that caused a motor covering to fall off.

According to ABC News, Delta Flight 762 was hovering above Cleveland, Tennessee on Sunday evening [May 8] when the plane hit turbulence, bringing about the Boeing 717’s motor lights to turn on.

Delta says in an announcement the furthest covering of the plane’s correct motor, or cowling, had fallen off.

The plane’s team sent out an emergency for immediate air traffic control. Delta says the flying machine landed securely and navigated to the door ordinarily. Each of the 109 clients on load up left the plane securely.

Representatives from Delta says they will further examine this unfortunate incident.
