The all-star, eight-date trek, which also features Grandmaster Melle Mel, Scorpio and MC Lyte, follows Ice-T’s 2012 documentary Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap and its corresponding 2015 California fest.

Vin Rock of Naughty By Nature talked to The Source and had a few thoughts on what it meant to be on the bill with such legendary Hip Hop acts.

“It feels incredible to tour with the Hip Hop icons I grew up on and grew up with,” Vin says. “This branded festival will definitely grow in the years to come. It’s Hip Hop history.”

Kurtis Blow also weighed in. “Reuniting with old friends is a blessing to my family,” Blow tells The Source. “I get to perform for people again in an attempt to bring joy to some.”

Presented by SiriusXM’s classic Eighties and Nineties Hip Hop station, Backspin, listeners have the chance to purchase pre-sale tickets on Thursday, May 12th, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
