Ne-Yo is planning on giving back in a major way. The singer is teaming up with StockX, a sneaker trading company with stock market-like visibility. The singer plans on selling 20 pairs of sneakers to raise money for children growing up in foster care through The Compound Foundation. It also is in partnership with the Music Academy Boot Camp, which teaches children how to explore various career options within the entertainment field.
The opportunity to buy sneakers from Ne-Yo’s personal collection starts now and ends May 20. The online auction will be held in the midst of the $1 billion U.S. sneaker marketplace, where millions of consumers are eager to get their hands on one of a kind purchases. The person with the highest bid for shoes at the end of the Bid Period will get that pair of sneakers. All shoes come with an official StockX’s certification, official shoebox and autograph from Ne-Yo.
From leather Reebok Classics to retro Jordans, Ne-Yo’s shoe collection features a colorful array of limited edition sneakers. The shoes for auction range from about $50-$330 but are expected to increase as bids pour in. For more information on how you can get your hands on some of Ne-Yo’s shoes for sale, click here.
