Upon waking up from a 48-day coma, 35 year old Army veteran Jake Booth woke up with an intense craving for Taco Bell.
“I want Taco Bell” were the first words Booth uttered to his family and doctors gathered at his bedside.
Booth had been hospitalized for pneumonia in February, when he had a heart attack and slipped into a coma. Booth could not eat solid food immediately, so sadly his request had to wait for 22 grueling days.

Last week, however, his Taco Bell desires were finally fulfilled with eight-and-a-half crunchy tacos from Taco Bell. The company even provided a hand-written note and some company goodies.
