T.I. is back in a big way today with the release of his new single and music video, “Dope,” featuring Marsha Ambrosius, produced by Dr. Dre and sampling Aaliyah‘s “Rock The Boat.” Earlier this year, Tip signed a distribution deal with Jay Z‘s Roc Nation and Tidal companies for the release of his forthcoming LP, The Dime Trap, T.I.’s tenth studio album.
The video, which you can watch only on TIDAL’s streaming platform for the next four days, features cameos from Nelly, Travi$ Scott, Big Sean and more, and showcases classic T.I., flowing effortlessly over a mid-tempo instrumental.
Upon its release, The Dime Trap will likely be exclusive to TIDAL, and will mark yet another marquee release for the service, which has already exclusively unleashed albums from Beyoncé and Kanye West so far in 2016.
