FKI is an Atlanta producer who is responsible for songs like Travis Porter‘s “Make It Rain” and “Bring It Back.” He has also produced tracks for T.I., Juicy J, YG and Tyga, and accompanied Justin Bieber on tour.

In addition to being a well respected producer, he is Post Malone’s official DJ. He executive produced Malone’s debut mixtape, August 26, but has been in the background in the industry for long enough. Now he’s finally taking giant steps into the forefront with this new EP being his first ever solo project.

1st released the “The Meaning” video via Mad Decent. Gucci Mane is reportedly his inspiration for writing the song and he considers Gucci to be his “life coach.”

1st went on to explain the meaning behind the song, saying it’s “about having everything but it doesn’t mean anything. At the end of the day material things aren’t what matters.”

In the video, 1st and Malone visit some of the fanciest landmarks in two of America’s most beautiful cities, LA and Chicago. From rooftops to condos to joy rides through the city, viewers experience a glimpse of the good life. Check out the full video below.
