“2 Phones” rapper Kevin Gates will now have two Murder For Hire mixtapes.
“I really apologize for the wait,” the Louisiana rapper said in a Snapchat video on Wednesday night [May 25], “but Murder For Hire will be dropping Friday, on the 27th.” A series of videos on his Snapchat story also featured snippets of the music.
Word of the mixtape’s release came mid-April, when Gates informed us via Twitter his label wouldn’t let him release an album until next year.

“They’re not allowing me to release another album until Feb, f*** it murder for hire 2,” he said in a tweet.
It looks like the project has finally come to fruition and it’ll “really really” be released this Friday.
