Rockie Fresh dropped his thorough The Night I Went To… project early this year in January, and it remains one of the best free releases of the year. Fresh was joined by Rick Ross, Chris Brown, Ed Sheeran and more on TNIWT, which reminded fans of the Chicago emcee’s serene lyrical dexterity, and introduced new fans to the many facets of Rockie, from his R&B to his edgy, street personas.
Today, Rockie revisited that project with a brand new music video for the trippy “8 Missed Calls.” This cut would slide into Rockie’s R&B category, as he does a helluav lot of lamenting while the viewer jumps through visual hoops to keep up with a very somber Rockie Fresh.
