Muhammad Ali is currently under doctors care at a Phoenix area hospital, being treated for a respiratory issue. The Ali family spokesperson Bob Gunnel issued a statement sharing: “He is being treated by his team of doctors and is in fair condition. A brief hospital stay is expected. At this time, the Muhammad Ali family respectfully requests privacy.”
The 74-Year-Old former heavyweight champion has long suffered from Parkinson’s disease and has been hospitalized a few times in past years, twice between 2014 and 2015. One of the instances was from a severe urinary tract infection, which was initially diagnosed as pneumonia.
