Back at it again another Monday with a different feature, and what seems like a better Nipsey Hussle, if that’s even possible. This week’s Marathon Monday release is titled “Down As A Great” featuring Houston’s own Kirko Bangz.
It’s been a while since we heard from the former “Drank In My Cup” rapper but on this particular project Kirko owns the hook as he harmonizes with charm and in a legendary Houston “slowed up” manner. In contrast, Nipsey brings power and punch to the verses, never hesitating to put us up on game.
“Down As A Great” was produced by Mike and Keys, Jake One and Tariqbeats. During the song, Kirko states, “To be legendary, be legendary; who don’t want to be legendary? I just want to be legendary.”
