We certainly didn’t see this one coming.
Bobby Brown‘s memoir is spilling all the tea, from claims his late wife Whitney Houston smoked marijuana with teenage Bobbi Kristina to having an affair with Tupac Shakur.
According to the Associated Press, who received an advanced copy of the memoir titled Every Little Step, the ex-New Edition member describes his turbulent marriage to Houston, including allegations of Houston’s “share of cheating” with “quite a few of the producers and artists” she worked with, naming one ex-lover in particular, the late Shakur.
The memoir didn’t stop there. The 322-page book details his share of extramarital affairs with Janet Jackson and Madonna, drug problems and run-ins with the law.
Besides name dropping, Brown refutes claims he was the bad influence on Houston’s drug use. He writes that the Bodyguard actress, who died on February 11, 2012 in Beverly Hills, California of accidental drowning, was using cocaine before he was and continued drug use after he had cleaned up.
The book includes testimonials from family members and colleagues like Ralph Tresvant of New Edition and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, who co-producer Brown’s 1988 hit, “Don’t Be Cruel.”
Brown recently sat down with Robin Roberts on 20/20 where he discussed the death of his and Houston’s only child Bobbi Kristina on July 26, 2015 in Duluth, Georgia. According to CBS News, the medical examiner classified her death as “undetermined” because investigators were unable to determine if it was accidental or intentional, suicide or homicide.
Every Little Step comes out June 13.
