Over two years ago, actor Columbus Short was removed from the hit show Scandal amid domestic violence allegations and things have continued to go down hill from there. Last September, he was arrested on a felony assault charge after he knocking a man out and breaking his nose. Short pled “No Contetst,” in that scenario, which led to him being sentenced to three years of probation and two months of community service.
It looks like Short has gotten himself into a bit more trouble as he was recently sentenced to 30 days for violating his production. How did he violate you ask? Smoking weed.

Daily Mail:

“The judge sentenced the 33-year-old to 30 days in jail as well as six months in a residential drug treatment program when the actor appeared in court for a progress report on Wednesday. Short’s lawyer argued that the actor’s sister had passed last week from heart failure, yet the defense did not win over the judge, adds TMZ. The actor, who was taken in to complete 24 days in jail as he had been in custody for six, found himself apologizing, TMZ adds.”

Hopefully the 33-year-old can turn things around.
