Okay, before you say anything, hear us out.
Safaree Samuels has had his share of missteps. There was his really awkward split from Nicki Minaj, which produced a diss to both Nicki and Meek Mill, and there have been a couple of social media shenanigans worthy of scrutiny. So, when he recently dropped this remix of Desiigner‘s “Panda,” which is actually a reggae reimagination of the song, naturally, eyebrows raised.

However, this isn’t half bad. We’re not sure about his new alias–Punani Ninja–or whatever was going on at the end of the last bar, but if reggae-raps is Safaree’s new career trajectory–it helps that he’s actually Jamaican–he might be on to something.
