Childish Gambino, born Donald Glover, is set to join the cast of the Jon Watts directed superhero flick, Spider-Man: Homecoming.
The film refreshingly has a young and diverse cast including Zendaya, Michael Barbieri, Kenneth Choi and Tony Revolori. Also, Michael Keaton is starring as The Vulture, and Marisa Tomei is reprising her role as Aunt May. Glover’s role is still currently under wraps.
Glover has showcased his talent across multiple platforms. He voiced a teenage Black Spider-Man on Disney XD’s series, Ultimate Spider-Man: Web Warriors. Additionally, he was a writer for 30 Rock and starred in Community, Magic Mike XXL and The Martian. He has enough experience to deliver a stunning performance in the forthcoming superhero film.
