A few months ago, DJ Mustard dropped a new single, “Whole Lotta Lovin’,” an impressive, EDM-infused love ballad featuring Travi$ Scott, which would have been a shoo-in song of the summer candidate if the timing of its release worked more in its favor.
Luckily for Mustard, he’s got more heat in the stash. He’s yet to reveal the title—or any other details, for that matter—of his sophomore album, but he’s delivered another new single, “Don’t Hurt Me,” featuring Nicki Minaj and Jeremih. The club-ready single features a rapped and a sung verse from both Jeremih and Nicki, the latter of whom rapped about getting her groceries consumed—would it be summer without one of those references?—and Steph Curry not necessarily being the only guy in the game.
