Chicago rapper Dreezy has kept busy this year, dropping a new single, “Body,” which has climbed up to the #62 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and seen its music video get viewed nearly 8 million times. She’ll likely be releasing her proper debut album sooner or later, so she’s delivered another banger, this time a more aggressive cut, “We Gon Ride,” featuring a freshly freed Gucci Mane.
On the loyalty anthem, Dreezy and Gucci exchange cutthroat verses about the details of their personal circles over, an uptempo beat that neither rapper have a problem flowing over. This marks another in a string of new releases for Gucci Mane, who has been quite active since his release from prison last month. Gucci has dropped new music with Drake, Kodak Black and G.O.O.D. Music since his release, and probably has a lot more work on the way.
We’ll also be patiently waiting for more details on Dreezy’s major label debut, which is likely on the horizon.
