Officially the most devastating mass shooting on United States soil, last weekend’s shooting at Orlando’s Pulse Nightclub still has the country reeling as survivors continue to share their stories. Today, 29-year-old Miguel Leiva, a victim who made out of the fracas alive though wounded from two gunshots, shared his story with local news. In his interview, Leiva recounted the incident from his perspective, while also providing cell phone footage he captured while hiding in the nightclub bathroom. He goes on to say that many of the others that were in hiding also captured footage in order to send to their families, notifying them that they are still alive. Watch the clip below.
