If you ever somehow happen to see Kanye West on the street, you’d think getting his attention would be quite hard because he’s either in a rush or surrounded by security that probably wouldn’t let you close enough to identify him, let alone speak to him. Imagine if you got his attention and he allowed you to spit some bars on the spot—sounds like a complete dream, right? Aspiring rapper Cameron Grey recently managed to do just that, and turn his dream into reality.
Last year, West was reportedly coming out of House of Blues in L.A with Justin Bieber, following a Big Sean performance, when Grey bumped into him and asked if he could do a freestyle for him. Yeezy apparently was so impressed, he took Grey’s details and promised to contact him.
Now over a year later TMZ reports ‘Ye did exactly that, and has helped the emerging artist make his first album by letting him work with Grammy award winning producer Anthony Kilhoffer. The album, which TMZ revealed is called Cocaine Ferrari, does not yet have a release date but features the single “Never Bout Us'” which you can check out below.
