Snapchat just got its Presidential seal of approval. The FLOTUS has joined millions of users on Snapchat under the name MichelleObama.
After making thousands of appearances on other profiles, Michelle Obama officially has her own channel and is showing already that her Snap game is very strong. With only seven active hours under her belt, Mrs. Obama showed she’s up with the latest trends with her own Snapchat filter and the use of emojis.
So how does FLOTUS kick off her arrival to one of the world’s most used social apps? Dab with her mentees, take us behind the scenes of her Ellen Show interview, and outtakes from her prepping for The Late Show.
However, Mrs.O isn’t your typical over-sharing snap-queen. She joined the platform to show her upcoming trip across Liberia, Morocco and Spain to promote education for girls through her Let Girls Learn initiative. The trip takes off at the end of June and she will be joined by Malia, Sasha, Mrs. Marian Robinson, Actress Meryl Streep and Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto.
