Seven years ago today [Saturday, June 25], we lost arguably the best pop artist to ever do it, Michael Jackson. Recently there’s been some obscene rumors circulating about the late singer and his legacy.
In what appears to be a tweet related to those rumors and simple acknowledgment of the past seven years without M.J., his sister LaToya Jackson wrote this:

Despite all of the negative news pertaining to Jackson, he still impacted the world in a way only he could and accomplished things that will live on past his time here on Earth.
