On Tuesday [June 28, 2016] the Federal Bureau of Investigation made an adjustment to their ’10 Most Wanted’ list to add one of the most unlikely of suspects: a 24-year old woman charged with killing a pregnant woman and her unborn child.

It was back on March 5 that Tamecca Perry, nine months pregnant, got into an argument with Shanika Minor, a neighbor’s daughter, over loud music being played late at night in the duplex shared between Perry and Minor’s mother, according to the FBI.

When the things escalated, the mother of two, schedule to give birth to her third within that week, was shot in the chest with a semi-automatic weapon. By the time Perry retreated to her home, she died in front of her two children. image

Shanika Minor’s mother states that she attempted to separate the two women before, even stepping in between them and begging Minor not to fire on Perry. However, the suspect raised the gun over he mother’s shoulder and shot and killed the 23-year old mother.

“The brutal murder of a mother and her unborn child is reprehensible,”  says Robert Shields, FBI Milwaukee Division special agent. “The FBI will provide all of our available resources to assist the Milwaukee Police Department in locating and apprehending this violent fugitive.”

There is currently a $100,000 reward for any money directly leading to her arrest. The Feds describe her as armed and dangerous and she’s believed to have contact with various people within Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Tennesee, Ohio, and even Georgia.

Her full name is Shanika Shontel Minor and has sometimes used the alias “Ida Jackson“. Minor is 5-foot-6 and 165 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Agents says anyone who may have spotted the suspect or may know anything about her whereabouts should contact their local FBI office or the nearest American embassy or consulate.
