PartyNextDoor and Jeremih announced a few weeks ago they will indeed embark on a joint venture. The venture will form a new album, titled Late Night Party. With the album officially being announced, we now get an official single from the two artists.
“Like Dat” is a Murda Beatz-produced single, that features Lil Wayne and was premiered on the one-year anniversary of OVO Sound Radio. Noah “40” Shebib did a guest mix that featured a vast majority of R&B songs from the 90s, while OVO co-founder Oliver El-Khatib, held it down with some new exclusive; “Like Dat” was included.
PND’s 93 album is coming up, which does give us reason to believe this track could possibly be lined up for Party’s solo efforts. It’s pretty hard to tell at this point, especially since Murda Beatz has production on both projects. The song will definitely be something that is new in PND’s lane, considering the speed of the production and upbeat feel. Nonetheless, he handles the track nicely, alongside with Lil Wayne.
It would not come as a surprise to hear them blast this one in the club and on the radio. It’s the perfect mixture of R&B vibes with Hip Hop. Take a listen for yourself below and make your decision on it.
